Higher Loop Bandwidth Supports USB 3.0
The Extended Loop Bandwidth (XLBW) option available on
all BERTScope Clock Recovery (CR) models extends the calibrated bandwidth
region past that on standard CR models, doubling the maximum from
12 to 24 MHz for data rates ranging from 4.8 to 12.5 Gb/s. This is
the highest loop bandwidth available on any hardware clock recovery unit
on the market, and extends the available Jitter Transfer Function (JTF)
bandwidth needed for several serial data standards. For example, with the
XLBW option, engineers can meet the JTF bandwidth requirements of recent
serial standards such as USB 3.0 (4.9 MHz), and 6G SATA (4.1 MHz).
Key Features
- Extended calibrated Loop Bandwidth to 24 MHz, the
highest available in a hardware clock recovery instrument
- Supports the jitter transfer function bandwidth
requirements in the USB 3.0, 3G and 6G SATA standards
- Available option on all BERTScope Clock Recovery models
- Operates up to 12.5 Gb/s*
